Q system

Instinct

The requirements ledger that remembers why. Instinct analyzes the work moving through Jira or Azure DevOps and keeps a permanent record - separate from the tracker - of what was actually decided, so the reasoning behind a card never gets lost to a closed ticket.

What it does

Tickets get closed, edited and archived. Instinct's ledger doesn't - it's the durable memory of what was actually decided and why.

Integrates

Works with your tracker

Instinct connects to Jira and Azure DevOps, reading the cards you're already working so nothing has to move out of your existing workflow.

Analyzes

Does the analysis on the card

As work happens, Instinct analyzes the ticket, the discussion and the resulting change - turning "what did we agree to" into something explicit instead of implied.

Records

Writes a permanent ledger entry

That analysis becomes a ledger record in Instinct's own system - a second history you always have access to, independent of what Jira or DevOps still shows.

One source of truth for what actually happened

The ledger is what you refer back to when a ticket's history isn't enough.

Independent of the tracker

Jira and DevOps optimize for workflow, not memory - statuses change, tickets get reused, context gets overwritten. Instinct's ledger is append-only and outlives all of that.

A second history you can trust

When you need to know what was actually agreed months ago - not what the ticket currently says - the ledger is the record you check.

Or run it standalone

Instinct doesn't require Jira or Azure DevOps at all. It can operate as its own requirements and tracking system in place of either - same ledger, no external tracker required.
